Hidden Village of Demons

Below the summit of Mt.Kanpu, descending north from Tsumagoi Pass and rounding the hairpin curve twice, the view is like a bowl.
This was once a large crater, and large stones are piled high in a hollow in this corner.
This is the "hidden village of demons" where it is said that demons once piled up stones and used them as a summit.
There is also a huge stone called the "Kobo Daishi's Writing Stone" that is constantly filled with water and never runs dry.
