Funagawa, Oga Sta.

The Funagawa area, where Oga Sta. is located, is the gateway to Oga when coming by JR.

In recent years, the area has become a high-profile area with new tourist centers such as Roadside Station Oga Ogare and new inns.

Oga Onsen

Located on the northern side of the Oga Peninsula, Oga Onsen is a representative lodging base for Oga.

It is a popular destination for visitors to Oga, with its highly reputed hot springs, Oga's famous "Ishiyaki cuisine", and "Namahage Taiko drum performances" that are said to be worth coming to Oga just to see.

The hotel is close to major attractions such as the Namahage Museum, Oga Aquarium, and Nyudozaki, making it a good base for sightseeing.

Kitaura, Shinzan

The Kitaura-Shinzan area is home to Unshoji Temple, a hydrangea temple.

At the foot of the mountain where Namahage dwells, there are two guest houses that are integrated into the local lifestyle, as well as a high-standard campsite.

Monzen, Sugoroku

It has long been said that if you want to enjoy seafood unique to Oga, you should stay in the Monzen and Sugoroku areas.

This is a district on the southwest coast of Oga where Unosaki Beach, Godzilla Rock, and Akagami Shrine Gosha-do are located.

Toga, Kamo

The Toga/Kamo area is located on the west coast side of Oga, and if you want to take a hot spring bath with a spectacular view of the Sea of Japan and especially the sunset, this is the area for you.

It is also close to the Oga Aquarium GAO!

Funakoshi

Funakoshi area is the gateway to Oga by car.

It is also a good base for touring Akita, with easy access to the Akita area.

Wakami, Ogata-mura

Easy access not only to Oga, but also to Shirakami Sanchi and Noshiro area.

The location is a relay point for sightseeing, leisure, and business in the Oga area.
